Glamping has come a long way since the early days of a Yurt with a wood burner and a mattress on the floor. It is now, according to the Daily Telegraph on it’s second evolution.
“It has evolved into something greater, offering five-star luxuries in the grounds of hotels or castles, or in some of Britain’s most remote and precious landscapes”. Natalie Paris, The Telegraph
As a result, there has been a rapid growth in the number of websites offering “glamping as their speciality”. The trend started with a site called “one-off places“, aimed at finding you any kind of unique accommodation, this was closely followed by the longtime B&B website Sawdays setting up Canopy and Stars. If you are on the hunt for something a little different for your holiday this year then you could start by using one of these glamping search engines to find the tent, caravan, yurt or treehouse of your choice.
Here are the Luxmode top 5 glamping search engine websites:

You can find a boat in a field or even a helicopter on a farm in which to stay.

Canopy and Stars is owned by the grand ol man of bed and breakfast: Alistair Sawday. AListair has been around for decades now, firstly in print and now online. Every property is personally visited by him or his team, so you know it has been thouroughly checked out by experts. Canopy and Stars is the newest of the brand and offers hundreds of glamping opportunities around the UK and the rest of the world.
